CIF needs to make a rule that anyone involved in a physical altercation on the court is suspended for one full season.

Adults/Coaches should be one time and they are banned for life…..zero tolerance policy.

Sucks for the other kids on the team, but that team should be banned from any Postseason activity for that season as well.

A full season? Seems excessive as these are kids after all and their lack of judgement on occassion is an age feature. Now parents? Coaches? Absolutely.

Gotta agree that a full season for players is unnecessarily harsh... Three games is plenty, maybe more for particularly egregious fighting, or multiple incidents.

Adults? Yeah... but if it's a parent, they might just yank their kid out of school altogether and look to transfer.
