Burbank is 7-0 after winning Nevada Union Tournament and Clovis North Tournament a week prior. Average margin of victory has been 25+ Two good test this week against an athletic Inderkum team and a very solid Grant team.

Burbank has their best team in a long time. What division will they be in come playoffs?

Not sure the CIF will do division assignments for the playoffs some time this month. Their football team was dropped to D3 so it's possible they could end up D3 this year.

Saw 2 of Burbank's games at NU this past weekend and when they first walk in the gym the overall impression is they are not very big but then the game starts and they have several kids who play above the rim. In their game against Reno one of their players grabbed a rebound a foot above the rim and slammed it home. They are very athletic and like to get up and down the court. The only way I see a team being able to beat them is if they can cut down their many seemingly easy drives to the hoop and slow down their very quick fast break. The only weakness I observed was an inability to score from beyond the arc but with their ability to get to the hoop it may not matter. I think they will present a serious challenge to Sac High this year and should do well in the playoffs regardless of the division they are in.

Right now Burbank and Sac High have 2 common opponents in Pleasant Valley and Clovis North with Sac losing both games. A 68-59 loss to Clovis North and they lost to Pleasant Valley 54-49 in OT. Burbank beat Pleasant Valley by 26 and Clovis North by 22. The difference between this team and Burbank teams of the past is that even if you slow them down they're actually very good in the Half Court as well. Bruner and Davis are both very good scoring wings, Chris Grey is super athletic and Knox is an elite level PG who gets everybody involved and never turns it over. They just need to prove if they can compete at the highest level of competition.

Great Game. Seth Dawson 2019 CG goes off for 31. Burbank had numerous chances but couldn't convert free throws late. They struggled against Inderkum's 1-2-2 zone.
