Burlingame Lions tourney at Hillsdale HS…

Yeah, it worked…

Anyway, Hal Moon Bay vs Stuart Hall in this, the first game of the day…. 8-7 HMB, 2:45 left 1st.

HMB, going without injured 6’8” center Owen Perez, runs off 5 quick ones, time out Hall…. 12-8 HMB, 1:45 left 1st.

15-10 HMB after 1 quarter…

The Hall is very young, with 2 seniors, a junior and all the rest sophs and frosh.

26-22 HMB at the half…. Looks like a pretty even matchup so far….

btw, nice little gym here.

:::: ticks off another gym seen for Kiddman32 ::::

(Has to be somehwre around 300 now)

58-33 final, HMB moves on…

Sacred Heart (the Gators in Atherton) faces Palo Alto next….

SHP is 1-2, having been crushed by Riordan and SI before nosing out Carlmont 47-46 Saturday.

Paly is 2-0, having wins over Pacific Grove and Sequoia.

Some outside shots start to fall…. should spread the defenses some, let’s see who can hack it…

SHP now leads 18-11, time out Paly with 5:10 left in the half.

SHP’ 6’6” Matthew Norris slams one home on the fast break to end the quarter…. 47-22. That was his 2nd dunk of the game.

Now we have 2-2 Bulingame vs 5-0 Priory, a team that punches above its weight class year after year.

6’8” Mate has a big front line, 6’8” junior Mate Palotai and 6’6”soph Teddy Xanthopoulous…. Big guys, big names…. Good thing I don’t have to try to pronounce ‘em….

But their scoring leader is 5’8” junior Jai Geroedette with some 22ppg.

Unfortunately, after all that…. I see niether of Priory’s two big dudes. Injured? Sick? Who knows??

Priory grabs the lead, 12-11, and that’s the quarter.

Burlingame has allowed two length-of-the-floor drives. Coach NOTTTTTTT happy.

Geroedette demontrates why he scores 22 a game…. Just sank a 3 from downtown Daly City. 28-19 Priory, 1:36 left in the half.

66-43 final…. Noticed Priory plays in the same league as SHP, Menlo School, King’s Academy…. That’s a great league to follow for those who live down this way….

Hillsdale v. Westmoor of Daly City next…. Forgot their records I looked up earlier…. Let’s just say these guys were not candidates to go to Gridley…

Hoping for a close game after the three blowouts…

Early on, 5-2 Hillsdale.

58-39 final…. SHP is quite good, and the team they beat ain’t bad either….
SHP Football season just ended , so they played some early games without several football players, one being Norris. They are well coached and will be much better as the season goes on.

Hillsdale dominates the 2nd quarter and leads 25-13. Off to the car…. My next hoops stop, the Stonebarger tourney at Liberty of Brentwood…. and my fabulous Cougars!!
