California Live 2025 Schedule

Mitty smoked Mission hills..Wol not playing yet but on sidelines not wearing a brace.

Bod cruises...

Salesian beat handily by Brentwood.

CN handled Carlsbad easily by 30ish.

SRV plays Mission Hills tomorrow curious to see that game.

SMS beat Central by double digits and plays CN tomorrow.

Only 10$ to get in and 15 to park! Very reasonable!

It was a 1st class event!

Mitty (without Wol) still rolled everybody of course.

SMS looks like the class of the SJS.

SRV looks like the only team in NorCal that may give Mitty some resistance though.

Im thinking we may not have 6 OPEN teams in the North again this upcoming season.

4or 5 team bracket

SJS seems down after St. Mary's, which has questions with Rogers coming back. The freshman Hardy looks good.

Within the SJS, St. Mary's will always be up there. Folsom, McClatchy, Oak Ridge, and Whitney are in a rebuilding season after losing their top seniors. I think Antelope, Christian Brothers, Colfax, and Inderkum (in that order) look strong.

In CCS, it's Mitty & everyone else, and that's with or without Woliczko.

WCAL rivals Riordan and SI will both be in the Open group, but can't match up with Mitty.
Pinewood and Priory from the WBAL will be there too.
Returning D4 State Champ, Half Moon Bay, should be the sacrificial lamb from the public pool.

Others to consider: St. Francis, Menlo Atherton.

My take from the last 2 weekends...

Top 2..

1 Mitty
2. SRV
NO DOUBT TOP 2..I actually think SRV can give Mitty a run for the $.

Drop-off

3. Clet
4. SMS

Drop-off

BOD, Piedmont, Riordan

Drop-off

CN
Salesian

Clayton Valley and OakR were there but didn't get a chance to watch. Im sure I'm forgetting some others.

***CVC and CN play this weekend at St Mary's college. Im pretty sure CVC belongs on this list and I'll find out when they play CN.

I was under the impression that Carondelet has all their starters from the state championship team back for next season. What is their projected drop off based on? Were they missing players?

No drop-off...they will be VERY good.

I just have Mitty and SRV better.

Don't forget SRV beat CLET all 3 times they played last season (pretty handily) and ALSO RETURN EVERYBODY plus NORCAL's top frosh.
SRV went to undefeated CW last seson (norcal open) and had a shot to win in the last minute. CW then went to Mitty after and had a shot to win in the last minute. SRV (with a bunch of FROSH and SOPH) was REALLY close....I have SRV as the clear-cut 1 in NCS and CLET as the clear-cut 2.

CLET should be a lock for the OPEN...just as the #2 seed behind SRV.
