The exodus of players and coaches from the state continued this past week as Ricky Rodriguez, who was a rising coach in the East Bay after stints at Encinal and Logan, has stepped down at the Union City school to take a teaching and coaching position at Tennessee. Sione Ta’ufo’ou also left Mitty for Lipscomb Academy over the summer.
