how fast can you complete a game took place Saturday when the cougars scored 42 points in the first quarter, but it goes farther that the score as nine players were involved in the scoring and no body took any glory as it was a team effort...The guys who did the scoring were Ringquist,Ishida, Fafoutis, Cruikshank,Allen, Moranville, flower, Bocobo and Mossotti.....Coach Macy emptied the bench and almost every body took part in the action.
Usually, one of the running backs will rack up three or four TD's in a high scoring game like this, but not Saturday.. The scoring may not be a record, 114 points is not a bad day.
Campolindo.......42.....07.....14.....07.....70
Ygnacio Valley...08.....06.....22.....08.....44

One of the big drawbacks is having to face teams from your own league again in the playoff's, in this case, Campolindo stopped Acalanes 49-19 on 11-6 and now they face Acalanes again on 11-20, as good as Acalanes is, the same result will take place, or maybe the Don's will play the Cougars tough and the game may be a lot closer????

SJS section Inderkum scored over 80 points in their playoff game with a 82-32 win over Lincoln. I don't know how fun that can be. 16 team playoff brackets with all the divisions in the SJS and NCS set up quite a few round 1 mismatches.

Wow. Patterson had almost a similar game against Yuba City. Final score was 73-42. Patterson didn't score 42 in first quarter, but did score 28 in the first. Very mismatched game

Guys...After all these one sided victories, one would think that if you don't finish the season at least at 5-5 that you didn't qualify for the playoffs....This would mean fewer teams in the playoff's, but at least some of the teams could put up a fight...Now there is DLS this year that no matter what, their win is going to be a landside even against Pittsburg, Foothill, Monte vista and Antioch.
NCS is most likely looking for gate receipts and if teams get clobbered, so be It.....In Division one, there were three byes and this would have to be the same for the rest of the divisions in order to put a stop to these slaughters....

Campo and Clayton should be in the ebal. Those two would give teams fits.
With the realignment of the DFAL and the DVAL starting in the 2016 season, isn't CVC going to the EBAL or will they stay with the DVAL?? And the other question is how much longer will CVC and Campolindo be able to field strong teams as every high school goes thru cycles...I think Campo will be the first team to drop down a little...

Yuba had 7 or 8 turnovers vs Patterson, three to open up the game, paper said it was 21-0 only 2 mins in to the game....for what that's worth.

I wonder if Yuba City got the early game jitters and couldn't do any thing right, or maybe Patterson came at them like gang busters and they fell apart because of the pressure...7 or 8 turnovers spell disaster...Penalties are a killer also, some times nothing works.....

One thing Patterson has had in their favor so far this season is speed, alot of opposing teams have said they were just too quick. #3 Lawson, I would say has been the biggest killer to the opposition, I havent seen him get caught yet when he gets in the open field. Lawson definitely played a factor starting from the opening kickoff when he ran it back for a TD. They just couldn't catch him so it was actually 7-0 Patterson in the first 5 seconds and than Yuba City fumbled the ball on the kickoff to them, Patterson than makes it 14-0. Definitely not a good way to begin the game down 14-0 in the first 3 plays.

There are a few speed demons roaming around that can really fly, get one or two on a team and any thing will happen, that's a good way to break a team with a opening kickoff return...
