Gutsy call and close play at the goal line. Looks like the ball got over the goal line but question on whether knee was down before it did. Looked more like it was over the line before knee from that angle, but could have looked different from referee side perspective. In any event a close call. Tough to lose such a close one on a close call.

For CN to be in a position to win that game is crazy. St Mary's is a powerhouse year in and out. Baseball and Hoops are different with enrollment than football. I'm pretty sure Newman has about 150-170 students in each class (boys and girls). So much for home calls!

CN played a great game. I don't think it is crazy for CN to be in that game or even win. Central Catholic (D-4) plays SM tough every year and has beat SM before, why not CN. It looks like they had a tough call against them at the end. Great game.
