As I watch the careers of some highly successful seniors wind down, it occurred to me how many wins did they have in their careers?

let me preface this by 1st saying:
1) I've always been of the mindset that if you can win 100 games in your HS career that THAT IS A GREAT HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. To show how difficult it is to win 100 games in career, I was surprised that the BOD, CLET, PINEWOOD and CAMPO seniors hadn't won 100 yet.
2)
ST. MARYS (Stockton) doesn't play in a league anymore which means the last couple of yrs they didn't play/schedule as many games as others which of course limited the win potential of their stud seniors.
3) One of the reasons i decided to research this was because (at CN) Maiya Flores and Tal Webb recently won their 113th game in their careers....so I decided to see what others have done.

some notable win numbers....

Mitty: Blakes, Ortiz, Miyahara... 101 wins (and counting)
SMS: DeCosta, Young, Johnson... 107 wins (and counting)
Salesian: Lesa-hardee, Stewart... 103 wins (and counting)
CN: Flores, Webb... 113 wins (and counting)

and the top winner that i can find???

Miramonte: Steele, Kirkpatrick, Bryant..... 116 wins (and counting)

PLEASE!!! BY ALL MEANS ADD OTHER GIRLS TO THIS LIST!!!

100+ wins????

Lets give some props to those who have won and EXCELLED in their careers!!!

Not to detract from these girls' impressive high school careers, but none of them played on the varsity team as freshman (they were on the playoff roster that year.) So, more like 82 and counting, not taking into account any games they may have missed.

Pure domination. Never to be matched again!
And major props for what they had to endure this year with the fires. Determination on a level many can't even begin to comprehend.

I could be wrong but I have to question your information with regard to Carondelet. Their two seniors Maaeva Dwiggin and Leah Walton have to be at about 100 wins give or take a few. They didn't lose even one game in league during the 4 years, And they have two back to back NCS championships and a runner up/ 2nd place NCS their first season. They also won at least one or two preseason touraments in that time frame and I think were always at least close to 500% in the preseason games. And of course this year which I think competitive equity has been their worse won and loss record but it is at 20 and they are still alive for NCS. And they will get pulled into the Open or Division one tournament after the NCS run. Perhaps you have the actual season ending records because I don't. But they must be in the neighborhood of 100 wins already.

your initial post seems to refer to current seniors. Elle Louie, who graduated last year from MM, was on board for 122 wins. the current crop will tie her when they win the State Open Championship.

Actually all kidding aside they might surprise a few folks. I'm sure the coaching staff will have them well prepared to make their opponents as uncomfortable as possible. And Clair Steele and company will be put in the proper lineups and positions to excel. And they won't be lacking in the effort department.

I can see where the collective win totals may be impressive and does reflect a good degree of success.

Let’s keep in mind that seniors at perennial strong programs have played in far more meaningful preseason and post season games, with likes of Nike TOC, Iolani Classic in the preseason and Open Norcal and Open state finals games. The success in these types of games will reflect a very memorable high school career. We applaud all these seniors for their great efforts through their careers.

I was talking about current active players/seniors....

But Im ok with alltime wins also as that was going to be my followup question.

So Ali Gibson of SMS is at 130?

Does anyone know of anyone higher?

is 130 the state record?

****and for Paytc I specifically looked at CLET because of your daughter Leah but they wernt quite at 100 yet.
Check out MaxPreps and go back last 4yrs... (go to the more button on the bottom left of CLET homepage)

You may not always find that Max Prep is always accurate. So what number did you come up with for Carondelet? I'm sure they must have averaged at least 23 or 24 wins per season. I think this season with the 8 losses has to be either the worse season up to this point or 2nd worse. Based on the past lack of success in the open and the fact that there are only two games left in the NCS if they can get past SRV, and find a way to pull out the Championship game against the winner of Castro Valley and Heritage it looks like getting to 23 would be exceeding past season's accomplishments as that would mean Carondelet would upset either Mitty, SMS, or Pinewood in the first game of the Open which of course they would be the under dog to either of those teams. I think the goal at this point would be to just focus one game at a time. Next up SRV. Winning the last game of the season should be the goal for every team at the start of the season. But I'm not sure many coaches set that as a goal.

Best wishes to all still in it to win it !

Back in the day, there was no limit on the number of games Sacred Heart Prep could play. I think they played 41 games one year ... that's changed over the years, and now the statewide regular season limit will be 26, I think, and no more two games per tournament regardless of how many games you play in the tournament.

Texas teams that can get 40+ games every year. The computer loves the wins, and so they get ranked really high.

But still, that's a lot of wins ...

For Clovis West, Megan Anderson, Danae Marquez, Sarah Bates, and Bre'yanna Sanders all finished 117 career wins and were all 4 year varsity players.

Current juniors Madison Campbell, Champney Pulliam and Aari'yanna Sanders currently have 92 total wins plus whatever they can add this year and then their senior season as well.

Congrats to those Newman girls. Those wins were against a non league schedule that was always challenging as well. Flores is def amongst the greats to play at Newman/Ursuline.

Interesting to see how little some states play. I want to say some of the midwest only plays in the low 20's. Playing 40+ is a little crazy.

Some states have a 20-game limit, plus playoffs. Others, like Texas, have no limits.

Most are in the 24- to 28-game range.

Salesian's Sydni Stewart, Taimane Lesa-Hardee and Taisia Fleming have 104 wins in four years.
