Division I: St. Francis-Mountain View (11-0) vs. Serra (10-1)

It has been expected these two teams would meet twice this season. St. Francis won the regular season meeting 44-21 in San Mateo. The Lancers have a powerful running game and can hit timely passes, but have started games slower than expected in the first two rounds. At Serra, quarterback Dominique Lampkin is completing 74 percent of his passes and Petelo Gi has run well since being forced into the starting role.

Division II: Menlo (12-0) vs. Wilcox (8-4)

Menlo’s run continues after beating top seed San Benito 45-35. Quarterback Sergio Beltran has thrown for more than 3,000 yards and rushed for more than 1,000 yards for the undefeated Knights. Wilcox has won seven in a row since its 1-4 start. Senior Luther Glenn has rushed for 1,838 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Division III: Sacred Heart Cathedral (5-7) vs. Christopher (7-5)

Sacred Heart Cathedral has played a tough schedule, including three losses against fellow section finalists (St. Francis, Serra, Sacred Heart Prep). It scored a season high 42 points in last week’s win over Mountain View. For Christopher, Jaterius Lee has 675 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. Cody Ahola has caught four touchdowns in five games since coming back from injury. Last week, he had a season high 103 yards against Leland.

Division IV: Sacred Heart Prep (5-7) vs. Homestead (7-5)

Six of Sacred Heart Prep’s seven losses have come by one possession. Zach Freire has more than 900 total yards of offense. Derek Sheerer is Homestead’s leading rusher with 1,105 yards and 15 touchdowns. He is also the team’s second leading receiver.

Division V: Aragon (8-4) vs. St. Francis-Watsonville (9-3)

Aragon posted 48 points in each of its two playoff games against Hill and North Salinas. Two of its four losses have come to section finalists Menlo and Homestead. St. Francis has won nine straight since a 0-3 start. Running back Johrdan Garibay has 1,362 yards and 20 touchdowns. He has 172 yards and three scores in the semi-finals.
