Here is a thread to post updates and thoughts on the game. For once, the CIF will get a big crowd for the 4:00 Friday game

Del Oro takes 4 minutes on the opening drive and gets a TD run from Davis.

Classic DO drive. Power running and a few timely, safe passes.

Camarillo punts on its first drive. Del Oro was all over Camarillo's plays that first drive. Good scouting report

Casey Taylor is a darn good offensive play caller. Doesn't get too cute, but also creative. Good start for the offense

Del Oro 7 Camarillo 0 End of Q1

Del Oro has controlled the ball in Q1 and defense has so far contained the big play.

John Spencer gets a FF and FR for the games first turnover. Del Oro has the ball in Camarillo territory.

DO run defense is great and stops Cam again who went for it on 4th down and have great position starting at Cams 45.

Del Oro pushes the lead to 10-0 on a 37 yard FG.

Important drive in the game coming up for Camarillo.

It has been a struggle for Camarillo, but Constantine has had a few big time throws.

Del Oro holds and goes into halftime with a 10-0 lead. Camarillo gets the ball to start the second half.

Really good first half for Del Oro. RBs ran hard and defense played very well

Cam QB illegal pass as he cross line of scrimmage. DO held anyways.

DO 10 Cam 0 Half.
Amazing half for DO on defense and ball control offense dominates time of possession. You can tell Camarillo is explosive but DO has done enough to get that offene off track. DO has to keep doing the same in second half.

Per CalHiSports - "Camarillo's lowest halftime score before tonight was 14-10 leading vs. Arroyo Grande. Note: Del Oro would be in a Pac-5 league in NorCal"

Very impressed with Del Oro line in first half and tackling been very good. Looks like Isaiah Otis, Camarillo's top rusher, will be in game in second half. Looks like he was held out due to disciplinary reasons. Camarillo starts off with ball in second half. DelOro has to keep the pressure on. If they can frustrate the Cam offense and control the ball in the second half they could get the upset.

Camarillo spreads it out with 5 WRs to start Q3 and pushing the ball down field with some success. A sack halts their drive though.

Del Oro gets the ball on its own 30 yard line

Do holds Cam on first drive in half after a 40+ return and driving to DO 30. Cam turns it over on downs. Nice sack and pass defense helped DO.

Impressed that DO held them again. Scoreless in the 3rd. DO keeps it on ground and clock moving.

Camarillo nearly got a punt block but gets the ball back in good field position.

Good stuff guys Sitting in truck @ job site. No radio/heater in this mobile office.
Starting to rain here. How is weather there?
Will be interesting 2nd half with Otis back in game

Let's go D O !!

Camariloo holds DO who punts (high snap but gt it off) and Cam has ball on around their own 31
