College Head Coach Suspensions/Ejections

I've known Coach since he was an assistant coach at Notre Dame. Good guy. Too bad. Interesting thing with umpires- I used to have a very adversarial relationship with umpires. That doesn't work for a lot of reasons.
As a coach, we make bad calls all the time from the dugout and nobody knows. As long as umpires are hustling, in position, and have a great attitude- who am I to get upset if I don't agree with a call. If they are not in position, not working hard, and are combative by usurping their authority- now I have a problem. The great majority are good guys and there for the right reasons and it's fun to have a positive dialog throughout the contest.

He apologized (what else could he do?) but said he never intended to make contact....... OK.
I like it when Blue gets it right. At a recent college game, the hidden ball trick didn't work with a R3. The P hadn't practiced it 9 (maybe so excited a triple was possibly going to be erased) and stepped on the rubber and within a millisecond the chief called the balk, run scored and smiling coach who called it could only shake his head. Funny backfire.
