Very impressive career this Oak Ridge alumni has put together at Notre Dame. He’s 20-3 as a starter and in top 5 of almost every QB category in history of ND. I believe he may have another year but I could be wrong. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a chance to play on Sundays. I always thought he was overshadowed by Browning but I liked him as a QB better. Stronger arm, better athletically, and much more elusive.

Let it be a lesson. Stick it out and compete!

not necessarily Justin Fields would be playing PS3 with his roommates right now if he stayed at Georgia instead of playing for a National Semifinal for one of the most storied programs in the country absolutely ballin out, Eason would have never sniffed the field if he stayed at Georgia instead he got a season under his belt, Burrows would be watching the game tonight with a clipboard if he stayed at Ohio St instead he’s the #1 draft pick, Heisman winner and on his way to play for a Natty, there is about 20 other transfers who started this year who got to prosper on the field versus riding the pine......so I do not agree with this at all, go and play where you get on the field and not ride the pine

Depends what your end game is too. NFL dreams def can change things but You could argue at GA Fromm struggled this year. Eason would have had an opportunity to play especially if you had somebody like Eason on bench. He gets plugged and does well and rest is history. Happens all the time. You don’t know. Look at USC. You have a #3 who had a great season because of injuries. I’m old school. People bounce too often.

I think QB is different because only one guy can play not like WR or CB or LB where your rotating
7 guys in and out all game, QB you can be a baller and have a baller in front of you and you won’t play......like at SC Daniels or Slovis are going to have to leave both are really good neither one deserves to ride the pine

Will the MC kid get a chance at Iowa? He was a big kid with a nice arm. I liked him. Think he’s only a redshirt fresh?

Apparently he’s the backup this year so will have a great shot at starting next year, he’s got the size and arm so will see if he has the poise

My only memory of him

Ian has had a very good career at Notre Dame.

There are a number of quarterbacks from NorCal who have had good to very good career at P5 programs, which says something about this area.

In regards to transfers, a lot goes into it. I don't like to question someone else's move. The one thing I will say though is that more playing time isn't always guaranteed. If that is the sole reason for the move, there is potential for a lot of disappointment. Playing time isn't the only reason for a move though
