Our local reporter, John Devine, has tweeted out that Salinas school's Alvarez and Rancho San Juan have had to pull out of tonight's City jamboree due to an uptake in Covid cases. In addition it appears that Alvarez has canceled (forfeited?) it's game vs San Luis Obispo on 9/27. Rancho San Juan first game vs Woodside is on 8/3 and that is still scheduled. I am hoping that this is not a continuing trend.
