curious...when are the playoff brackets suppose to be announced?

Section playoffs are usually announced the Sunday after the regular season ends.
I'm guessing the CIF playoffs (whatever it is) will be announced the Sunday after the section playoffs are complete.

2015 Playoff Information
The SJS football postseason determines the playoff teams through the playoff plan. After those teams are selected, they are split into divisions by enrollment and seeded by committee. NCS comes out tomorrow. You can actually see the selections announced live on the web, if you don't have any wet paint you want to watch.

Yes that's right - In the past, the CIF brackets are announced between 10AM to 1PM Sunday - this year December 6th. And the regional games start December 11th @ 7:30PM.

When & how will CCS be announced?

CCS has one more week of regular season and the playoff meeting takes place Sunday November 15th. New format this year with 3 open divisions (A league playoffs) and 2 nonopen (B/C league playoffs). 3 open champs and 2 runners ups from open are eligible for state games.
