This one should be a real treat... Two fast, talented teams with some bonafide D1 talent.

Both love to run,run,run...

Tip in some 12 minutes...

I have picked CVC to win, but it truly could go either way.

The Ugly Eagles come into this ranked #3 in the state, and the Heritage Patriots are ranked #13. These are MaxPreps computer rankings, and I don’t know if their Wednesday wins are included.

Wow... A quick first quarter with zero breaks for me to type... After 1, it’s 15-14 Patriots.

28-24 Patriots after a couple really snappy plays by #5, quick little PG for Heritage.

Sorry for infrequent updates... only one time out in the first half, few other chances for typing. 33-32 Heritage at the intermission... Tons of action, great game!

The Heritage PG mentioned above is Ezra Manjon, a ridiculously quick, shifty ankle-breaker type...

Silly auto corrupt... Tried to “correct” his name to Manson... No, no, Siri...

Heritage scores last 5 of the quarter, a Ned 3 followed by a Ned dunk... Tied at 52, one quarter left...

CVC ties it at 63, 3:11 left. Seems like whenever one team looks like it has grabbed control, the other comes right back.

Two FT’s made by Heritage, z stop, and a corner 3.... Patriot fans taste it... 71-66 Patriots, 45 secs left

Kiddman. Great updates and analysis. Both teams played great and lived up to the hype. Very impressed with Ned. He can do it all. Hit the three, drive to the hoop, or post up. Nice looking player.

I second that. Nice work once again Kiddman.

That pump fake drive to the hoop poster dunk over the bigs by Ned at the end of the 3rd quarter was simply awesome! Very impressed with both teams tonight, but Pats got it done.

#5 also had an amazing game with those ankle breakers and great finishes and CVC had no way to stop him. CV must have missed 7 of their last 8 shots down the stretch.

Ezra had a coming out party. He has D1 talent but needs to get a D1 jump shot. His bursts were unbelievable and I've played against a lot of fast/quick guards. Ned is another D1 talent. Needs to put on 15-20 lbs of strength/muscle but he has all the tools. I see him as a 2-guard where the sky is the limit.

I haven't seen Heritage since late December. Putting up some big numbers as part of a championship run. Players doing that are a short list

Looking at the list i think he should be 8th behind Keshad Johnson. He is better than both twins from Salesian and Knox from MC. I’ve seen all of them play several times

You know if we track teams year to year in NCS D1 we would had saw Heritage coming. Last year when Heritage was a top 4 with Dublin, DLS and Logan; the difference in that year and this year was Dublin, DLS and Logan were lead by their Senior class while Heritage had a Junior Leader. This year’s top 4 has Heritage, CVC, Dublin and Berkeley. Heritage last year’s Junior Leader is this year’s Senior Leader.
