DLS 37- GB 0 Final

DLS is playing like crap, but leads 16-0. Were they playing an OOS game, or even one of the better SoCal teams they would likely be losing by at least 2 scores.

4 turnovers at least 70+ yards in penalties. The only reason they are winning is because the defense held GB without an earned first down (as in one not given because of a penalty) until GB's last drive of the half with a minute left and DLS in a prevent. DLS' possessions have gone fumble, then muffed the GB punt, TD, went 3 and out thanks to some questionable play calling (3 straight pass plays which I don't get when the team is clearly not executing), fumble, fumble, TD. 3 fumbles have occurred deep in GB territory, including the last one at the goal line (although it led to a safety and TD).

To be fair GB has committed a number of penalties as well.

I don't know what happened on the bye week, but film session will not be fun tomorrow.

One half (and one very good OOS game) does not determine how good DLS is or is not this year. Give that they have played like crap and still lead by 2 scores...I'm not concerned that Folsom would be able to do anything to them.

Gb gets a first down and then is stopped, and DLS promptly scores to make it 30-0. GB player stayed tangled up with Sweeney long after hand off, no flag. On Kickoff, offsetting penalties. Game is getting chippy. Then Gb somehow given 6 yards from where tackle occurred.

This DLS team reminds me a bit of 03. Lots of talent, but not putting it together consistently. However, this team's schedule is far more difficult than that one was.

G61: You say "imagine what Folsom would have done with them". Even though DLS turnover prone tonight, it is pretty obvious that this year Folsom would lose say 56-14 to DLS.

Also interesting to see your posts that tout places like Granite Bay and Folsom, they are very nice towns, and I assume you admire them from afar, since it seems you are probably not a too successful person in life and must struggle to make a living.

Your reading comprehension is struggling, I'm not stating that this particular DLS schedule is difficult (that discussion can be reserved for the end of the season after all the games have been played out), only that this schedule is more difficult than the 03 team's schedule was.

DLS takes a knee at GB's 25 (would've been at the ten were it not for yet another penalty). Running clock for 4th quarter. DLS has a lot of things to clean up, but will have 5 straight home games to end regular season. SRV up next, with match up against LBP looming the following week.

Centennial will most likely cruise till the pac 5 playoffs. SJB and MD face off next week... I think Centennial beats SJB in a close game

The team to beat in So Cal is still Corona Centennial. Their offense is still off the charts but the Centennial defense is much improved from last year. The starting defense has been pulled at the half or beginning of the 3rd quarter in most of their games so far. They have only given up 14 points in 5 games. I'm hoping for a Centennial v DLS rematch - it would be fun to watch again.

Something seems off with De La Salle. As previously said, group hasn't come together yet. Talent is there for them to really get rolling if they do.

I agree with Larry on Granite Bay. Just not impressed. Looking back to week 0, everyone got excited with their win over Jesuit which doesn't look nearly as good now. Grizzlies do have a pretty good punter.

When a football team loses 37-0 you talk about the upscale community.

When DLS loses you act like a spoiled brat who got what he whined for.

When Folsom puts up 60-70 points on teams you lie and say they ran the ball and had 3rd stringers in when the facts are the opposite.
