De La Salle is ranked #1 in nation by MaxPreps pre-season top 25 announced yesterday. Other top CA schools ranked in the top 25 are Centennial-Corona #6 [lost to DLS in state title game last season 63-42], St. John Bosco-Bellflower #15 & Bishop Amat-La Puente #24. DLS also ranked #1 from highschoolfootballamerica.com.

If they can stay undefeated, they should be able to hold that ranking. This is a tougher schedule than past years, but talent wise this is one of the strongest DLS teams in some time.

Yes Golfpilot - agreed in regards to DLS maintaining their ranking if undefeated. DLS was undefeated in 2014 & beat Centennial-Corona by 21 points in the state Open Championship [see above C.C. ranked #6 in nation]. DLS also returns many of the players from last season so it almost seems unikely that anyone is going to beat them [just sayin']..
