Centennial’s defense might be the best part of their team this year (crazy I know) Korey Foreman is a max preps preseason sophomore all American and Drake Jackson is 4* headed to USC both on the D line
Sometimes in early season we see those blow-outs where 2 teams look to be evenly matched [or at least close to it].
The wheels came off the bus for Pitt in last season's game, but I don;t see that happening this time around. Should be a much closer game & yes Pitt has a "chance".
Pitt will always have the players but they lack discipline. That comes from the coaching. Centennial’s coach will have that team ready. Should be a good one. I’ll be down there that week so gotta make that game.

Interesting take JustletmeB, but this has been mentioned in the past with Pitt. Usually have some superb athletes especially at the skill positions, but lacking in discipline and on field mistakes at times. I will say I was impressed with Pitt last year & attended the Serra-Pitt game where I did not see much if any evidence of that behavior as in past season's [so maybe the program is getting a handle on it?]. Either way this will be an exciting Pitt team to watch.
Good topic. But I think they have their hands full with Clayton and especially with St. Marys. They will be battle tested for sure when they face Centennial
Pitt should do much better than last season (but that was lop sided and any game would be better). Pitt will have a couple games before instead of a game one. Week 0 or 1 games can be complicated. St Mary's is a good preparation for Centennial in that they run a wide open passing offense and usually also are bug and athletic and have speed at the skills. Centennial lost their QB I believe as well and Pitt returns a pretty good motivated QB and lots of talent and the majority of last season team. Centennial will have lots of talent and so will Pitt next season. Won't pick a winner or loser year, but should be a much better game and closer.
Centennial's stud QB graduated (heading to Stanford), so the QB position is a bit of a question mark for them, at least right now. There will be speed all over the field in this game. Cen10 opens up against AZ #1 Chandler followed by Orange Lutheran with one of the top QBs in the nation .Cen10 will be battle tested too. Should be a great game.
