The game seesawed thru the first half, ending up 33-31 DV.
Beasley scored 16 in the first half for DV, Courtney Anderson jr. led Dublin with 9.
The Wildcats began to heat up in the mid-3rd quarter... Sevilla, who had been quiet the first half, quickly racked up 13 points, and DV led 48-38 with 3:53 left. DV's 6'7" big, Landon Edmond, got his 4th foul. He stayed in as DVs coach rolled the dice with his senior center. That gamble would prove to be a winner, as Edmond had a couple of big blocks and numerous rebounds down the stretch to help the Wildcats' cause.
The time out didn't seem to help things, and Dublin called another with 1:06 left in the 3rd, down 55-42.
They did manage a bucket before the 2rd ended, but it was 55-44.
Things didn't get better for Dublin in the 4th quarter, and DV couldn't be stopped.
Beasley scored 27, Sevilla 24 as the Wildcats won the top seed in next week's league tourney, 80-65.
I believe Anderson ended up with 23 for Dublin.
