I'm sure they put an asterisk next to it. Grant played them without most of their starters the entire game. But good win depending on what your perception of a good win is as a coach. I'm sure Downey coach Jeremy Plaa isn't jumping up and down over this win. I'm sure of that.
Def not apples to apples with all those starters out but you wonder how good Downey is because they cleaned Grant's clock. It was 43-7 in the 2nd. I wouldn't sell Downey short though. They almost knocked off a 10-1 Pittman team a couple weeks ago and played an 8-3 Turlock team close. Those teams will be playing Montery Trail and Oak Ridge next week in the playoffs so it will be interesting to see how good they are.

Guys...Even with 10 starts not on the field, Grant managed to score 27 points although they took a beating....Looks like Downey emptied the bench in the 4th quarter.

Grant was getting blown out when it mattered though. 57-13 Would grant have beaten this team at full strength? I guess we will never know.

Larry...I think if Grant would have had their head screwed on straight, we would have seen a different out come...This is the price Grant has to pay for doing Dumb things. This is a sport not hand to hand combat.
10 starters missing is a big deal for a team that has almost everybody going both ways. Missing 55 alone is a big deal there offensive and defensive lines shrinks considerably when he’s out of the game.
