Best post of the weekend.winning every week is not a birth right......
Poor coaching by Alumbaugh in certain situations. Asiasi is one of their best players. At 6'5 270 perhaps he should have taken some snaps and given Trinity a taste of their own "Natee" medicine and then some. Or at least try to get him the ball. Geez. The guy is a mismatch for any team.
IMO this proves the chink in the armor is Alumbaugh. DLS is still one of the best programs in CA but a step below the program that won 150 straight games. Maybe Pitt nips them this year?
Change that to "A few DLS fans" and you have something.
The team and staff work waaaay too hard to represent your statement.
And flip that coin..................while whining every week adds no insight........winning every week is not a birth right......
"Arrogance is a killer. Literally."As long as DLS plays a team from No Cal, winning every week is definitely a birth right.
They didn't lose because of arrogance.Best post of the weekend.
Arrogance is a killer. Literally. Just ask DLS this last Sunday morning![]()
Based on what I've seen for a quarter century, the DLS wins over Norcal teams are definitely a birth right!. How does DLS do it? How do they continue to absolutely dominate every team in Norcal for decades? It's hilarious!!!
It's called hard work, tradition, coaching and most of all a huge talent advantage.
Pitt used the same formula to blank Cal 28-0
Does anyone else feel the size of Trinity on both sides of the ball may have wore down DLS?
I dont. DLS looked plenty fresh to me on that last drive and throughout the 4th quarter (both sides of the ball)
Good point G61. Having traveled to Austin to participate in USA Football the past two years, they really do play a different brand of football.Did anyone else notice that Tagaloa and Wiley didn't appear on the offensive line until the fourth quarter?

Yes GB,I absolutely feel Trinity size wore down DLS as the game wore on.You could see their tackling fundamentals deteriorating later in the game. And with a team as well coached and fundamentally sound as DLS that's a sure sign of fatigue.DLS has small (but talented) linebackers as well as several undersized (but talented) O Linemen.
