Interesting take. What led you to this conclusion?

about a week ago, this "camp" was initially dubbed as come see such and such player, future "potential" NBA player, get signed autographs, etc. I then brought to his attention that that was against NCAA rules to exploit certain kids for profit, at which he deleted and reworded the post.

I think any program giving the kids a chance to play for something bigger is great-especially because I'm not doing this. But this was shady from the get go and still is. You can't advertise taking pictures and getting autographs from "potential NBA players", especially in the beginning when he mentioned certain players by name.

Here's the thread:

As a paraphrase from John Wooden, anyone can talk about someone's reputation and try and degrade it. But true character always reveals the truth at the end.

To date, Prolific Prep has had around 8.5 Million dollars of full-ride scholarships giving out to its Student-Athletes. This is over 1 Million dollars per year.

If you calculate its Directors/Head Coach (with over decade of AAU experience), that is over 50 Million dollars of Athletic Scholarships.

If you want to count the NBA and NFL Salaries that were included in this mentoring of 16 years, you are looking close to 300 Million dollars.

Feel free to question character and intentions. Data doesn't lie. As Yoda says, #TalkSoon

From everything I have seen PP is dialed in especially on the academic eligibility front which hasn’t always been the case with these prep teams. But get off your high horse and throwing out stupid scholarship numbers like you have anything to do with it. Every single one of those players could of been at their local high school with the exact same offers. What did Gary Trent stay with you guys 3 months? And you try to claim him like you mentored him since junior high.

I wish you posted the ORIGINAL post so that everyone could actually see what people are talking about.

Prolific Prep has a 100% Graduation rate at this point. That includes every single International student that has joined our program, has been eligible for college. It is rare to find another "prep" school in the Country (Definitely not out West) that hasn't had a player NOT flunk out for grades.

And those scholarship numbers are REAL figures. Please come visit a practice and maybe your opinion will change.

Unfortunately, we do not accept middle school students. Therefore, we will not take credit for players' successes in middle school. But we are a major platform for our high school players and their achievements are a major part of the successes of our program. We are not bashful to be thankful and either are the families. Our goal is to prepare our kids to get to College and our data shows that.

By the way, the EAST BAY CAMP is around 5 kids away from our maximum capacity for our gym. Thank you to the EAST BAY families that are wanting to be part of our camp. We have some surprises in store October 19th.

Why is the camp called unicorn? Isn’t that Jalen Green nickname? It’s all over his twitter feed.

of course it is...like i said, they're exploiting these young men. No matter how you spin it, they're being exploited legally (or illegally if you really look at it)

How much does the non scholarship players
on the roster pay to attend prolific prep just curious?

Footage from this past weekends Camp. We have one more next weekend (October 26th). You never know who will show up. This past weekend Zaza Pachulia showed up to support our guys. Next weekend might have another surprise.
