Ex-Serra QBs flourish

This might be some sort of record. Five former Serra quarterbacks are starting for other schools in 2024. Those schools are: Capuchino, Menlo-Atherton, Jefferson, Mount Diablo and Bishop Manogue (Reno). All five left the San Mateo school for different reasons. All five are directing teams with winning records as playoffs loom. The end result on West 20th Avenue: A distinct lack of experienced QBs throughout the program which currently embraces about 230 boys.

I didn't know they had that many former QBs at other schools. I think Folsom has similar numbers at other schools of guys that were at Folsom or were coming up the Folsom junior ranks., which makes it a little different

Who’s gonna be the guy for next season?

Milo Lazare and Patrick Byrnes are the backups on varsity. Lazare is a soph, I don't know about Byrnes. The JV quarterback is like 6-4 and throws pretty well. The frosh QB is a good athlete.

Idk if that would translate at serra there all at different schools and leagues, playing different level of competition
