Where and when is the NCS final?Never understood how Salesian was ranked higher than SRV but Wolves get second straight road win
Hasn’t been decided yetWhere and when is the NCS final?
Pinewood started each quarter with runs of 5-0, 6-0, 9-0 and 6-0Carondelet beat O’Dowd 57-47
Pinewood beat SI 61-42. Ladine finished with 30
I see PW vs Mitty game is 6pm Friday at the Kaiser in Santa CruzCarondelet beat O’Dowd 57-47

So… this is the 2nd straight year Salesian has lost as the higher seed in the NCS open. Only to get gifted a D1 NorCal #1 seed back to back years ( which is coming this year). Last time it was Cardinal Newman who got them who was rewarded with a NorCal open bid and ass whooping from Mitty. The CIF committee just conveniently decided to go with a 5 team open that year with 3 teams on a bye. Please make that make sense? So that Salesian could be the 1 seed in D1. Now why would the NorCal open exclude a perennial powerhouse from the open division and go with 5 teams in 2019? That sounds like a friendly committee willing to go to an extreme to help someone. How many minutes did Salesians big girl play in tonight’s game? Via is one of the more elite bigs in the area right? She played only a few minutes supposedly. I’m just curious if coach P is getting out coached in these elite games or if he is choosing to not put his team in the best position to win knowing a D1 NorCal #1 seed awaits with a loss. Food for thought.Never understood how Salesian was ranked higher than SRV but Wolves get second straight road win
Don't even get me started on the 5 team norcal open...and the bone job towards CN that year. So… this is the 2nd straight year Salesian has lost as the higher seed in the NCS open. To include CN is one thing but to exclude Salesian that year and make it 5 teams… that screams something and I’ll let you mess around with that puzzle and come up with your own conclusion. Same thing will happen this year. Except it’ll be a 7 team open and they’ll leave Salesian out and they’ll be either #1 or #2 just as they.. nevermindDon't even get me started on the 5 team norcal open...and the bone job towards CN that year.
Friday at 7:00 - SRV at Carondelet.Where and when is the NCS final?
my point being that CN won a barnburner vs Salesian..one of the biggest wins in school history and the 1st time they ever beat Salesian. And how did they get "rewarded" for that great win? By being put as the BOTTOM seed in the higher bracket. Meanwhile the loser of that game(Salesian) got "penalized" by being placed as the TOP SEED in the lower bracket. I mean cmon CIF seeding committee...do better... at least fill out the OPEN bracket. To include CN is one thing but to exclude Salesian that year and make it 5 teams… that screams something and I’ll let you mess around with that puzzle and come up with your own conclusion. Competitive equity brah. It’s worse in football specifically SS and Central fill out all their brackets by Calprep Rankings. Sucks if you have a good year, specifically at a small/medium public. Rewards mediocre large schools. In basketball Open needs to be reserved for the elite who have a shot of winning.
