If the 4-27 was the result of running the shooters off the 3 pt line then you have to credit the defense.
I would have to go back and rewatch that game to give an answer on that. From I saw It looked like Texas play solid defense. I still think Stanford has too much depth and talent and would win a rematch
When that happens it's time to start taking it to the rack. Next time they play I'm sure Coach Vanderveer will make that adjustment if the shots arent falling.
Not to be disagreeable, but one thing a defense can do is dictate what kind of shots an offense gets. Texas used its quickness to deny penetration and was heavy in help -- which left three-point shooters open. And as long as Stanford was missing those shots, it was the right strategy.
