Folsom beats Rocklin in SFL Opener

Folsom beat Rocklin 65-48 as Folsom gained control with an 18-0 first half run. Alec Day and Chase Rawlins each has 12 points. Rawlins dealt with some early foul trouble. Mark Lavrenov had 22 points.

Folsom likely won't be really challenged in what looks to be a pretty weak SFL.
Rocklin is nowhere near as good as last year. Jesuit might give Folsom a game but that is about it.

No suprises. Folsom continues to dominant the crowd.
Folsom 80 Davis 43 C'mon davis be good at something besides water polo, swimming, and lacross. Don't need these guys in SFL. It was same story for Football.
Rocklin 68 OR 43 - Like I said before no Kaleb Edwards this week and no chance. Maybe they beat Davis Friday.
Jesuit 49 Granite Bay 43 - Gritty win by Jesuit. GB played them tough. I watched a little of game.
Whitney 55 DO 47- Whitney.. Interesting. Not a great preseason but 13-3 and 2-0 in league. Coach French always throws a ton of guys and his kids play super hard. Might be better than I thought.

Agree. Edwards if he worked on it def could have played in college. Certainly at the scholarship D2 level if not low D1. Hard to teach 6'8 athletically. Remember Armstead? Lyons cracks me up. He's such a great athlete. He just plays hard and is a winner. Bring a lot of energy. Football guys should play hoops. You always need that toughness.
