Folsom Game Moved

Streak good points, i watched El Cerrito play Sheldon and quite frankly they underestimated Sheldon and got punched in the mouth and couldn't recover. They have been on point since then. This will be a game that will be won in the trenches. I am excited to see the guard match ups as well.
I like Folsom in a close game. EC is a good team. Folsom better be on their game.
I just wanted to point out a distinct advantage for Folsom in this one, although they are not playing in their own gym. EC is an urban school. If you have been to an EC game, you will notice it is VERY different than a game at Folsom. A 6th man does not exist at EC games. The 6th man and a large crowd will be out in full force at Vista Del Lago for this game. EC has benefited from playing many of their big games on nuetral courts (NCS title game).
I think that is a HUGE advantage for Folsom against a good team with EC.

Urban, Suburban, inner city doesn't matter at this point, this game will be won on the court, El Cerrito will not be bothered by the Bulldog nation.They are experienced and some of them have played in the EYBL. The crowd could motivate Folsom but will not bother an experienced team like El Cerrito. There are plenty of teams with great rooting sections that will be paying to watch this game tomorrow.
To go off passfirst, a lot of players on this team played at Mitty last year in the Open Division, two section finals now at St. Mary's College and other tough local venues. They also have plenty of big environment experience on the club circuit.
In this area, they will be fine.

Friday can't come quick enough. This is going to be a great game. I originally have EC by 3 but it's very hard to go against Jordan Ford. I'm guessing EC will put Davis on ford, to keep Alcorn out of foul trouble. Davis is strong as an ox, but Jordan is so crafty. EC by 3 but Wall will have 4 charges lol
Vista has a nice gym. It's a beautiful school actually. Just guessing but I'm thinking 3/4

Just to touch on the subject of running an offense. The official Cif Stat sheet had Folsom for zero assists in the game against Sheldon . So what kind of spectacular offense is run to create that?. You guys are so quick to judge a Sheldon offense. Just a question.

WWHS youll never understand. Maybe i have ties,connections, Friends etc to each program. I dont brag about EG football. Posting scores etc is not bragging. Sheldon to Elk Grove high is only 5 miles and only 3 to Pleasant Grove and Monterey trail. At one time all the area in between was Elk Grove High.

Still looking for stats that portray Folsom in a negative light? Zero assists? Sounds like the AAU ball that you promote every year. If you watch Folsom night in and night out like I do, you will see the teamwork and the ball movement in that offense. Half court offense, may I add. The same half court offense YOUR TEAM STRUGGLED with. Must be too much AAU ball, parent coaching, and Addidas sponsorships...Ouch!!!!
Go back and watch the tape. Watch our defense. Watch our heart. We are champions... You may be there someday, but right now, you ARE NOT.

G's salmon boat....nope. I happened to hitch my boat to the RV and head to Bodega in August and do my own salmon fishing. but now that you have informed me that G61 likes to salmon fish maybe I'll ask him if he wants to catch real fish or play with those pesky lil bass at his private pond?

A couple more points.
Tre Finch didn't get enough credit. The kid was huge last night. Had a couple big 3's in that first half run and made some big plays going to the hoop in the 2nd. He will have to play like that again if they want to stay with ODOWD.
Russell and Hendricks have to play better. Not a great game for them.
Can't wait for Tuesday! I will be in the east bay for work so I'm punching my ticket at Laney.
G61 has been a breath of fresh air on this sight. Sometimes comes from left field but who doesn't. One thing he has done is spoken with candor about some of the issues in sports these days. A lot of stuff nobody else wants to say out loud but deep down knows. I'm almost thinking Norcalpreps put him on the payroll. Stay real G61!

Good points. I agree about Tre Finch. He was amazing last night. The first few minutes, Folsom seemed to be a bit stunned by EC's pressure. After that, it was game on. Folsom was aggressive on both ends of the floor, stunning EC. That was one of the funnest games to watch I have seen in a long time.
Tre Finch has a great inside outside game. Sweet stroke and can put his head down and get to the basket. That kid is going somewhere.
