According to Joe Davidson's twitter account, here is Folsom's schedule. Dates weren't included;

I don't know how even the most ardent Folsom supporter can defend their non-league scheduling. Cathedral is really the only time they've stepped outside the section to challenge themselves. Deer Valley and SRV weren't bad games, but they should be doing exactly what Del Oro, GB and Grant have done in recent years. PAC-5, WCAL, DLS, and/or a respected OOS program such as Chandler, Bellevue, or Bishop Gorman.Originally posted by larry legend33:
As Dick Vitale says .. Cupcake city. Cardinal Newman who is D3 plays a harder schedule. Common Folsom. Step it up.
Because the kids and coaches should want to challenge themselves. They all work their asses off in the off season to be in that upper tier of CA programs and they should want to compete vs the tier they are in. The Folsom players admitted that playing DLS resulted in them working harder. Playing great competition improves your program.Originally posted by ivey1919:
Why should they schedule I really strong non league schedule? What's the benefit to them? It isn't like they have anything to prove to anyone. I'm pretty sure they proved that they are up there with the best teams in the state with there dismantling of Oceanside. Throw in the fact that they typically play in one of the strongest sectional playoffs in the state. Should they be scheduling these teams to prove they belong with DLS? The reality is that most years they don't and that is not a knock on Folsom, it is more of a testament to how great of a program DLS is.
Pretty sure G61 will try.Originally posted by ThunderRam:

Do it already.
Folsom didn't win the state championship last year. They won the consolation prize.Originally posted by G61:
It amazes me how Folsom wins a State Title and gets a ton of attention, and all the DLS homers get on here and bash them. Elite prorgram? Maybe...lately. They were the most dominant team in CA last year, possibly the history of CA.
As for next year's schedule. Hard to say unless your a coach...They may have reached out to teams who didn't want to play them for whatever reason. They should be good next year, but not elite...Dont forget, they are a public school, they will have up and down years like everyone else.
With all of that said, that takes NOTHING away from what they did this past season. They dominated EVERY opponent on the schedule. STILL...people say they played nobody. Well, I attended those games...MANY of those teams were extremely good, included a previously undefeated Oceanside team. Everyone seems to forget that Folsom could have put 100 points on many good opponents...rarely did starters ever play the 4th quarter, and sometimes even part of the 3rd quarter.
2014 STATE CHAMPS!!!!
Folsom fans have got to be the most delusional people on the planet. At the game in Carson, a Folsom guy tried to tell me that it was only the 4th time that Browner had played in the 4th quarter all year. I told him "This is my second Folsom game this year and he played well into the 4th in the other game, too" The guy replies, "Oh, then this must be the 5th."Originally posted by ThunderRam:

Everybody makes typos. "Firts". Cal14 has forgotten more California hsfb than you will ever know. Lets hear about Folsom this year and what they have coming back and how you expect them to end up. Pretty sure we will not hear much from you a few weeks into the season. Oh wait never mind forgot about the weak preseason schedule so maybe we have to wait till league for you to run away.Originally posted by G61:
Someone actually came on here, tried to talk trash about Folsom, yet didn't even know the name of the QB that set the state AND national passing record this season! LOL
Can you imagine if someone on DLS set that record? You would all be on here bending over
Total homers
Mtnjohn,
Where you at playa!?
