Two CC stories that I love from his career:
I think I have the details right, but late in one season with the Yankees, he was on track to hit an incetentive, but he hit a batter for the Rays to protect his teammates and got thrown out before hitting his incentive.
The other was the way he kept taking the ball for the Brewers down the stretch to get them into the playoffs despite heading into free agency.
Gamer and all around good guy from what I can tell, Hope he makes it in.

CC had an outstanding career. Tremendous athlete too as he was a very good basketball player too. Well-spoken, great media personality too. The only small knock I would say was he pretty much left his bay area roots and became a New Yorker and most of his efforts are over there now. Wouldve been nice for a player with his amassed earnings to invest back in the Vallejo area.
CC gets in on 1st attempt. Congrats out to CC. A funny CC story as well: I was in Tahoe at Celeb golf event a few years back, my daughter is having lunch and CC walks by, sits down next to her and asks her if he can have a few fries with reply "sure" He has a few, gets up and heads on to next tee box.
