Congrats to former Newark Memorial standout student-athlete TALI FA’I (Class of 2023) on her commitment to continuing her education and basketball career at Sacramento State University, receiving a full scholarship.
Tali recently completed two outstanding seasons as a member of the Laney College Women’s Basketball Program.
While at Newark Memorial, Tali was our captain, team MVP, and was selected to the MVAL All-League First Team, while leading the Cougars to the quarterfinals of the NCS playoffs. Tali scored 452 points her senior season, joining the Cougars "300" point-club.
