Frank Firpo, a former Burlingame girls softball, volleyball and basketball coach, died Friday at age 72. Services are pending.

Recognized that name from long time ago - Frank worked/helped with the Burlingame Rec Dept when I was just a kid. Just one of those names all the kids that hung out all summer long around Burlingame Park & Ray Park knew. That's too bad as he wasn;t that old, but guess he did what he liked most of his life.
