You're invited to attend our 36th Annual Newark Optimist Club - Newark Memorial Girls Holiday Basketball Classic on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday, December 28, 29, & 30, 2023, at the Newark Memorial High School Event Center, 39375 Cedar Boulevard, Newark.

Opening Day (December 28) Varsity Division Schedule:

3:15 pm Arroyo Grande vs. Santa Clara
4:45 pm San Leandro vs. Aragon
6:15 pm Lynbrook vs. Lowell
7:45 pm Foothill vs. Newark Memorial

Opening Day (December 28) Junior Varsity Division Schedule:

9:00 am American vs. Valley Christian
10:30 am. Irvington vs. Mt. Eden
12 Noon Clayton Valley Charter vs. San Leandro
1:30 pm Foothill vs. Newark Memorial

Daily Cash Admission:
Adults $7
Seniors (60+) & Students $5
Children Under-10 years - Free

Important Announcement!

We just had a JV Team needing to drop out of our upcoming December 28-30 tournament at Newark Memorial High School. If there's a Girls JV or Frosh team needing games, please let me know. Open until filled. Would prefer a team needing 3-games, but will consider single games. Need team to play at 10:30 am on Thursday, December 28. Games on December 29-30 would be between 9:00 am and start no later than 1:30 pm. The $425 entry fee would be waived.
