They play in Las Palmas, the capital of the Gran Canary Islands of Spain which is just 62 miles off the African coast. It's actually part of the African tectonic plate, but is completely European and Spanish, but is 1,000 miles to the closest point in Spain.
It's definitely a step up to one of the better funded teams in the ACB with one of the newest and nicest arenas in the league.
