You wouldn’t most of the time. But professional athletes salaries are normally public knowledge, so it’s really not that intrusive of a question.

Just asking, I wouldn’t ask anyone else but what an athlete would make to see how much it is compared to what a g league or nba salary would be.

True. Ferrari is now a professional player. That means he's being paid. The beauty of playing in Europe is that a savvy player can save wads of dough, invest it and come out a fiscal winner when he finally returns to these shores.
