SoCal folks aren't the only ones ... an anonymous poll of college coaches listed Close as one of the three most overrated.

Always great when the JV beats the Varsity.
JV Team? Just because lmu is a mid-major school doesn’t mean they don’t have bcs players on their roster. P5 programs don’t necessarily have bcs talent on their rosters. Gabby Green was a Mdaa as a start. Do your homework

You’ve got to love question #8 for NorCal:

Question 8: You have the #1 pick in a draft of every current college player (in their current class). Who do you pick with the goal of winning a national championship before they graduate?

1. Sabrina Ionescu, Oregon
I don't remember who was pro or con except for Clay being pro. But there was quite a discussion on how Sabrina was over rated and that reality would hit once she played against college players. While on the side that supported her, I certainly did not suspect she would turn out to be that highly rated at the next level. I doubt that anyone at that time though so either.

Just for the record, I'm not convinced Sabrina is the best choice for No. 1 in the draft, or that she's the best college player in the country.

She's really, really good, but look at this way: If she'd gone to UConn, she very likely would have been a reserve last year and probably this year, biding her time until Katie Lou Samuelson graduated.

Or maybe not, and maybe she would have forced her way into the starting lineup and done what she did at Oregon.

But there's no doubt the middle schooler that no one paid much attention to around here has turned out to be one of the best players ever to come out of this area.

If she was at UConn they would have won the last two National Championships.

Anybody know why Gabby is not playing tonite....looks like she is sitting on the bench...LMU is playing at Arizona so this is a big game for LMU

It was the crew from Stockton that had her being overrated. They were trying to make the claim that a certain guard from Brookside was the better player if I'm not mistaken.

Amac went crazy tonite 39 points....she had no help from the rest of the Arizona team....they lost to LMU 66 to 64

The LMU website says she was out due to injury, but said nothing specific about type of injury or how long she's out.

She looks great....from high 20% BF to something like high teens...
She must have found a great trainer and nutritionist.....fantastic work Gabby!!!!
