Garrett Hill (Analy/SRJC/SDSU) Tigers debut

Garrett Hill (another Petaluma kid) Analy High made his MLB debut on the hill for the Tigers today. 6.0 IP, 1 ER, 2 hits and got the W.

Kid used to work for my wife years ago and she loved him, so she was glued all game and biased. Not sure what is in the water in P-Town and Elk Grove but they have been MLB factories lately.

Sonoma County i think is Just getting discovered.
I think talent was always there (I’m bias of course) but we were off map. You take a team like newman who probably wins the SFL last year. (They Beat 3 of the Teams and Whitney vs them would have been a great game) SFL top 4 teams probably had 20 d1 players signed or offered. And Petaluma has always had great youth programs dating back to 80’s. I say more to come.
