Granite Bay beats Folsom at the buzzer

Granite Bay, which also has a win over Oak Ridge earlier this year, beat Folsom 57-56 in overtime.

That means this coming Friday, February 14, Oak Ridge (19-5) plays at Folsom (18-6) for the sole Sierra Foothill League (SFL) league championship. If Folsom beats Oak Ridge, they will both tie in league at 7-2.

However, Folsom has another tough game on Wednesday, February 12, at home against Del Oro (18-8). Del Oro and Granite Bay are tied for third in the SFL at 5-3.

Another tough game on Friday, February 14, will be McClatchy at Monterey Trail (16-4). I wouldn't be surprised by a Monterey Trail upset. Laguna Creek squeezed by MT by two points at MT ten days ago. If McClatchy loses, Laguna Creek will be sole Metro league champs by themselves.
