Isn't Serra a running team now that their O/C left for SJB?
They ran the ball like 50 times vs MD in that open Championship game.

That OC left a few years ago. Current OC runs a diverse offense. Probably was run heavy to try to keep MD off the field.
That's right. Although Serra is diverse in offense, playing any air ball would be senseless against MD. But the run game was nearly as unproductive as expected against MD.
There have been a lot of big 7on7 tournaments here in SoCal lately, particular this weekend with the Battle at the Beach tournament. Do you guys up in NorCal not have any notable 7on7 tournaments like we do down here? How come I never see or hear anything here about how the norcal schools are doing on the 7on7 portion of the season
A lot of the kids in NorCal don't even play tackle football. They only play 7on7.
Just like most kids in NorCal don't play tackle football until high school. They play flag and 7on7 until high school. So I would think the 7on7 tournaments in NorCal would be bigger than ones in SoCal.
