The 2025 Peninsula Athletic League Lake Division (C-level) schedule does not include Lynbrook. In 2024, they went 0-7 in league play, 0-8 overall. They were outscored 412-6 and were grossly over-matched even in an extremely weak league. It appears the San Jose school has tossed in the towel for varsity football, at least for the upcoming season. On a brighter note, Lynbrook is awash in high=achieving National Merit Scholarship winners.

I know someone close with the program, the program is out of the league for this upcoming season and has chosen an independent (freelance) schedule. As for the 2024 season, the team was essentially a JV (Frosh/Soph) team with only 4 seniors on the squad. This upcoming season, I've heard that they will have both JV and Varsity squads (hopefully).
They should consider 8 man. It’s better than not having a football program at all…
