Position Available: Head Volleyball Coach
Beginning Date: August 1, 2011
Where: Junipero Serra High School is the Archdiocese Catholic High School for boys in San Mateo County. Junipero Serra is an academic high school whose strong college preparatory curriculum enables its graduates to enroll and succeed at the college level. Junipero Serra High School offers a full range of extra-curricular activities as well as an excellent honors program. The academic, personal and spiritual grown and development of its students is the purpose of Junipero Serra High School and the motivation of its faculty, staff and administration.
Requirements:
? Demonstrates three-years of successful experience as a high school volleyball coach or equivalent experience as player of club coach.
? Demonstrates knowledge of the fundamental skills and techniques, as well as the advanced techniques in the sport of volleyball.
? Demonstrates successful personality and character traits appropriate to Catholic educational leadership.
? Demonstrates successful ability to teach, enforce, advocate and model appropriate behavior, character traits, Christian and educational values to student-athletes.
? Demonstrates successful ability to teach, organize and supervise student-athletes.
? Demonstrates successful management and organizational skills.
? Demonstrates successful ability to work with parent groups, administrators, staff and students.
? Current CPR/First Aid, NFHS or ASEP certification
