It is my Honor to put this tournament to Bed.

The games were Epic, we couldn't ask for more.

This years Tournament Queen is Felicita Graham

I have a story for you. 1953 to 2003 That's 50 years.
For the 50th anniversary, we had all Fifty Tournament Queens show up from all over the Country.
YEP ALL 50 OF THE LADIES !!!

Jay Olson's Record of 135 points { 1968 } survived another year.
Folks that's 35 points a game.
And just to let you know, this was done before the 3 Point line was in effect.

Stephon Harris From Luther Burbank. { 1999 } [ 104 points } His Last shot rimmed out. That was last time it was threatened.

I want to thank all the people who work on the Tournament.
It is really special to all the people who take part in it.

I leave you with this.

Here's wishing you great hoops

So a rim out shot is worth 31 points . Nice

Was a great tourney, as always... Terrific hoops, wonderful community, hospitality. Amazing.

I wasn't there, supporting my Cougars, but a friend of mine that WAS there said Gridley goes ALL OUT to make the tourney as great as possible.

I watched the games online, enjoyed the heck out of the coverage from NorCal Sports TV.

I played in this tournament for Riordan in 1990 and 1991. The first year Jerod Haase from South Lake Tahoe and JJ Polk from Jesuit Sacramento were the big stars. The second year our Jaha Wilson and Yogi Stewart from Kennedy Sacramento were the big stars. On the website it only goes back to 2004. Is there anywhere I can find the results from back when I played?

Yes, what do you need and, want to know. I will try to find it for you.
Was that the year the coach put a chair on the floor, and they stalled for 10 minutes?

I don't remember the coach and the chair thing but how the brackets broke down for those 2 years would be great. Over 30 years ago I'm drawing a blank. Thanks

Thank you! I appreciate it!

The best weekend of the year. Seven of 12 games within 10 points. Semifinals decided by two points each. Championship by one. Fun dunk contest and 3-point contest. Community that welcomes in players and coaches with open arms. Shame it's such a long wait before we get to do it again!
