Irish vs. Palma Livestream

This is highly surprising with Irish leading 14-7 in 2nd quarter as the SHC Irish are battling Palma. What we may be finding out is that Acalanes whom the Irish lost to last week are apparently better than expected & the 21-point turn around in the 4th doomed SHC from an otherwise close game. If SHC can play through the 4th tonite that would be a big improvement. If the Irish can possibly come up with a win that would be a HUGE upset after last week.
Right now I'm finding it improbable that the Irish are containing one of the best RB's in CCS which MItty had no answer for - cannot even explain it.... what a job the Irish D is doing!

Yes, they look much better on both sides of tbe ball than they did last week.
On offense, they have to do a better job protecting the quarterback.

Hey what happened?? Irish on 2-yard line with 1rst & goal at end of 3rd quarter, I get a snack and come back & Palma deep in SHC territory with no score by Irish? How the heck did they screw that up??

OK just saw a replay & horrible call by officials. SHC RB falls into end zone and ball come loose & they call a fumble after "already in end zone and turf causes fumble"?? where do they get these officials? Terrible flubbed call..

Will take a miracle for Irish to make up 2 TD's in 4th and likely on their way to 0-2. Cannot place all blame on officials however as Irish have to play 4 quarters - the 4th has once again been their downfall...

Viilagas now running downhill against tired Irish and Palma is heading towards exactly what Acalanes did to SHC.
How's this - Irish were up early & Palma has now scored 35 Unanswered points... no team can win games when they allow that to happen..

That so-called "fumble" call changed the whole game. I thought it was very much unlike the Acalanes game. The Irish played much better this time. They still need to do a better job protecting the quarterback.

Irish won the Frosh game 21-8. SHC dominated throughout. QB was OK but tossed an interception and almost got picked two other times. R.L. Miller looks like the featured back. Jerry Mixon was mainly a blocking back but got his share of runs. It looked like he was trying not to out-run his blockers when he had the ball. Very solid player. There is some size on the lines but the roster doesn't list their heights and weights.

Palma frosh seem down. Palma JV soph class are strong but QB, TE are starters on varsity. The JV offense has been challenged compared to as frosh with breaking in a new QB. Palma varsity offense should significantly improve as the season goes when QB gets more experience. He will be very good but still locks on his spot, but also probably playing baseball in college as an elite short stop. Palma RB Villegas always gets stronger as the game goes. He single handledly beat Menlo Atherton last season in OT.
