St. Ignatius 2021 center Jack Burnett picked up an offer from Air Force this past week. We don't have many true center propsects come out (had a good one this past class in Placer's Kyle Christensen) and Burnett checks a lot of boxes

He has the inside track to be the top offensive lineman in the league next year. Another returning first team lineman is Evan Branch-Hayes of Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Had the pleasure of coaching Evan Branch-Hayes on the 8th grade Nor Cal FBU team and I said this kid is going to be a monster in High School. His respect for coaches was so impressive as an 8th grader. That team consisted of the Top players in 2021 class and as a coach it's very rewarding to see all these kids keep moving forward in their careers.

Evan had an eye opening sophomore year which created alot of promise for his junior year individually and team wise but injuries and lack of talent at the RB and LB positions for SH led to a season to forget. He was often used as FB on run plays which would be great if they had a decent offensive line to run behind. Personally would just line him up next to Hester on the right side at Guard and try running that way. For SH to win games, they are going to need him to play both sides of the line for every down. Its a lot to ask. Hope he has a strong senior season and scores a lot of D1 offers.

Evan Branch Haynes has a chance to win Defensive lineman of the year and if the Irish have a great season maybe player of the year. He’s that dominate of a force

Nice highlights. He’s a beast!

At 6'2, 270 that is quite a load on the field. He wouldve been very useful even at 6'2 on the basketball court just moving guys around the paint with his strength. Hoping Tyrice Ivy and others can convince him to be a part of the squad next year.
