Let me start out by saying it’s a fall league and they don’t matter but, Jzaniya Harriel was spectacular yesterday in a game against McClatchy she may have had thirty points and twelve rebounds running clock. To be so young she is truly a complete player and may be the best player in SJS this year. She ended last season first team All-State freshman and ended the summer an Adidas All American.

**Antelope won the game But Kamryn Hall did not play.

Jzaniya Harriel is a special talent, she reminds me of Sara James with a higher level skill sets at an earlier age. Jzaniya was clearly the best player in the gym yesterday, and going up against Nia Lowery was a great battle to watch. CKM have some nice players on their roster and will be a force in Sacramento, we're hoping to play them again with Kamryn Hall.

Jordan Goodwin, Kiajia Lesane, Arianna Spann, Angie and Angelina Jordan all played well, it was an intertaining fall league game.

Miss Harriel and Antelope going to be very good in the next few seasons! I agree Azanna, might be the best player in SJS this season and is only a sophomore, very impressive freshman season and tore it up this summer. This year going to be very interesting in Sacramento area as there are 8-10 teams that will be very competitive. St Mary's still very good but may not be an overwhelming favorite in SJS for the first time in many years. Here is my early top 10, each team with some very good D1 talent:
1. Antelope
2. Bear Creek
3. McClatchy
4. Sac
5. Bradshaw Christian
6. Folsom
7. Whitney
8. Christian Brothers
9. Cosumnes Oaks
10. St Francis

Shesh, You must live in Sacramento.... I mean I know we graduated alot but We return some as well. Might not be top 5 but I think we should have a argument for somewhere in the top 10. I mean we did beat McClatchy TWICE and beat SF.... But nice top 10. We like being the Underdogs.

I like it Coach, way to stick up for your team. Yes, I didnt include you in the top 10 early on because of the key seniors you graduated. It was very impressive in beating McClatchy twice last year. I loved watching Celeste play, she has a motor that doesn't stop. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and put you above St Francis at #10.

So is this your top 10 "other" teams, or do you believe SMS will not be top 10 this year?

So where did Amaya Oliver wind up? Sac or SMS? That will tilt the balance of power ...

Interesting and respect your choices, however you and azanna are getting to excited. SMS better team still, better coaching, and better schedule. Relax

Yes, Amaya Oliver is back at SMS from what I hear too. They are still very good with Nicole Young, Jada Moss, Blount, Cayton, and getting Oliver back from injury. But after losing the big 3 from last year, all I am saying is that they aren't the overwhelming favorite like every other year that I can remember. It has been a long long time since they have lost a game in the SJS.

I never said anything about Antelope being better than anyone. All I said was Harriel looked pretty damn good Sunday and I also want to add that Nia Lowery is a big time player as well, I think she is a high major. It was nice sitting in a gym on a lazy Sunday afternoon and watch some high level players go at it.

I was just informed that Amaya Oliver is in fact a SMS student. That will help them a lot, but I also heard their incoming freshmen class is pretty good . I heard at least 4 of them will play varsity this year.

A blow to Sacramento, and a plus for SMS. Of course, SJS has to say she's eligible, and you never know ...

She didnt play basketball last year so I cant see there being any problem.

And of course if she didn't play last year not sure I'd call it a blow to Sac since they never really had her. Just my opinion.

Should be interesting between SMS, SAC, McClatchy and Antelope next year. Maybe the most competitive SJS in years.
