This is it! The last home game ever for Josh Jackson, and potential last chance to see possibly the #1 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft (see two mock drafts below).

This is going to be a nostalgic night for our program, Josh and our two other Seniors - Vance Jackson Jr (UCONN), and Devon Daniels (Utah). The game is this coming saturday, Feb 27th at 6pm at Napa Valley College against Reno International Prep. We hope to see everyone out there supporting our guys and sending Josh off with Love. Josh and his family "Trail blazed" a new path with Prolific Prep and we are very thankful for that. Without Josh and his families commitment to the Napa community, there would have never even been a Prolific Prep program. We are very thankful for our community and Josh, and hope we can all send him off with the proper celebration.

For our last Prolific Prep home game this Saturday (Senior Night), we are going to make it a fun, entertaining, and special night. We have a DJ, halftime local 4th grade teams playing (Napa Quakes vs. Bay Area Renegades), and really good raffle items.

So far our $1 raffle and Silent Auction will consist of:
-Autographed Signed posters of our seniors (Josh Jackson, Vance Jackson, Devon Daniels)

-Weekeend getaway to Monterey sponsored by the Marriott

-Certificate for a Premium Wine Tasting for 4 at Frank Family Vineyards.

-3 Month membership to Napa Sports Association ($225 value). Batting Cage's, Weight room, Basketball court, PiYo and Bootcamp included.

-Behind Home Plate SF Giants Tickets (Club Level)

If anyone would like to donate more items for this special day, please email info@prolificprep.org or (707) 849-1212

For this special event, we have VIP Coaches Box seats, VIP Courtside seats available. We sold out on the VIP Coaches Box seats, but have around 40 VIP Court side seats still available. Please Email info@prolificprep.org for more details.

Media at this point covering the event is Yahoo Sports, Ball Is Life, Premier Ball, Next Up Recruits, D1 Circuit, Comcast Sports, Prep 2 Prep, Napa Valley Register, and Baller Bridge.

Would love to go, but not on a night where there are high-school playoffs.

Should have planned this for a Sunday, when you would figure there was less competition for fan's butts and eyeballs.

VIP seats (Coaching Box) have all been sold. We do have VIP courtside seats available. We need to order them very soon, so if you're interested please email info@prolificprep.org or call 707-849-1212. Game is 6pm, this Saturday at Napa Valley College.

Who knows whom you will be seating next to court side. Last event we had NBA Hall of Famers and some of the most influential people in the basketball world sitting court side. This Saturday will be very similar.

Update. All VIP coaching box seats sold out. We have 50 VIP courtside seats. 42 have been purchased. We have 8 left. Call 707-849-1212 for booking through PayPal. Cost is $55 per seat and includes admission.

Going to be a packed house at Napa valley college, 6pm this saturday.

Great segment on comcast sports network this evening about josh Jackson. Proud of Josh and his decision to come to NorCal. Senior night on Saturday. Just as in the segment video, should be another filled up gymnasium to witness his last game.

Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care? About Prolific Prep. If so I can't imagine why.

We got google analytics telling us 42k people a day like what we are doing (Visiting our website/facebook)

Clearly some people care about the make believe school. 42,000 unique visitors per day to their sites? Nonsense

Apparently you did care until Josh dropped Maryland from his list of schools....

"Looks like I am going to have to venture up there to see Josh Jackson play. He's going to be taking an official visit to Maryland and really liked the campus when he made an unofficial visit over the summer.

If I come up to see him play, I will NOT be able to speak with him

LMAO!!!

Wasn't aware. Oh well. If you knew all of the ones we failed to get over the years, it would make your head spin. From Ralph Sampson to Sam Bowie to Dominique Wilkens and on and on.

BTW, you can have an interest in an individual and still believe the program is a joke. I believe he made a bad move going there.

TurtleLove what do you really know about Prolific Prep? Have you been to a workout? Do you know anything about the training these athletes are receiving? Do you have any idea what the concept is behind Prolific Prep? Do you know that it is not and has never been a school? It is not a traditional program but the people involved believe that it is right for them. I think you will find that going there has not hurt Josh at all. The training the athletes are getting at PP is preparing them to go to college and be ready to contribute from day 1. PP does not need me to speak up for them but I get tired of people saying bad things about them when they really do not know anything about what they do.

I'm not trying to jam you up too bad but I DO think Prolific Prep is a good program and is attempting to do in the Bay Area what the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (all prep schools) did decades ago in the DC area.

FYI, Diamond Stone, Melo Trimble and Rasheed Sulaimon all went to prep schools............

You're comparing SCHOOLS to a basketball team that isn't part of a school. I've said this before, I think Justin Siena is foolish as hell for allowing themselves to be used in this manner. I would be extremely resentful if I played for the actual Justin-Siena High School or was a parent of one of them.

Ummmmmm, so one isn't allowed to an education of their choice, if it be public or private? TurtleLoveCA - your argument is fact-less and ignorant. Take a look at what you just said. You basically are saying that because these kids are extremely talented and gifted (oh and are black by the way), that they shouldn't be allowed to go to a private school with the same rights as any other kid in the area.

What is next, you want the Prolific Prep kids (13 of them) to have their own "PP Water Fountain", or "PP table to sit at for lunch". You are ignorant and obviously the University of Maryland education has pigeon held your intelligence level.

Jealousy makes any man weak. Just ignore PP if it bothers you this much. If Josh Jackson chose Maryland, you would of been at every home game riding his coat tails and probably would have bought a Prolific Prep shirt. REALITY!!!

LMAO. You really are pathetic. Your facts are simply ignorant. Completely ignorant. I can guarantee you I wouldn't have purchased anything with PP on it and your arguments sounds like that of a Trumper.

And then, you choose to make it racial? You are a joke.

BTW, I would NEVER recruit any one and done players if I had my choice. Don't care how good they are and yes, that includes Diamond Stone. I hate it and think it is horrible for colleges.

I'm pretty certain that Mr. PP won't answer this, but I know for a stone cold fact that the PP people approached a multitude of schools before getting Justin-Siena to accept a dozen young men who were not from the area and were not going to be participating in sports at J-S. Of course, they wouldn't be eligible to participate in any event.

The question is how many schools did PP approach before getting J-S to say yes?

Can you imagine going to DeLaSalle or St. Ignatius or Bellarmine or G-d forbid, Serra and asking them to admit a bunch of kids that would be playing basketball together and simply using the school?

With one million percent certainty, they would have gotten laughed out of each one. Tell me I'm wrong, Mr. PP.

Why wouldn't I answer that. Once again you are wrong! But why does that even matter. That is a moot point cause I do not think we would need approval to ask anyone if kids were enrolling as students into a school. If they apply and are accepted, they can be admitted. If we applied to DLS right now, EVERY SINGLE one of our kids would be accepted on MERIT, regardless of athletics. Checking the "Athletics" box on an application is not mandatory. Once again, this isn't the 1950's of segregation. Education in America now is not separated by student and athlete.

Private schools sole mission isn't to produce top sports! Private schools like increased enrollment of top students. If you did your homework and read some of the articles online, you will hear about the high GPA student athletes associated with PP. Kids that have learned English in 18 months (that speak up to 4 languages) that are currently receiving 3.8 GPA (multitude of kids). Those private schools you mentioned would probably even want to scholarship some of our student athletes because of what they bring to their school as students, culturally, and conversations into the classroom. Those type of cultural conversations and experiences cannot be achieved in typical classrooms.

Do your homework Turtle. You are like a year away as a former jealousy poster (CG6 or whatever his name is). Those comments were so last year. Enjoy your life in your own shell.

I think its time to close this thread. Below is just part of an alumni group from Julliard School, which specializes in the Arts for gifted kids. Nobody seems to ever bash this group from leaving their schools to further develop their gifts. Why is PP any different. Imagine if they just acted in their own school plays instead of Julliard? They would have turned out so much better probably!

Either your reading comprehension is really awful or you lie like Trump. I said NOT A SINGLE WORD about these young men as individuals. The only two I knew anything about were Josh Jackson & Matt O'Reilly. Matt left Campo because he and his coach didn't get along and PP was a good landing spot. You are LYING if you are telling me that you didn't go searching for a school that would take a dozen young men from around the country.

Can you imagine going to DeLaSalle or St. Ignatius or Bellarmine or G-d forbid, Serra and asking them to admit a bunch of kids that would be playing basketball together and simply using the school?

And the reason for that is those schools would have wanted those kids on their own team. But does it even matter? I went to school with a guy who would have been one of the top two players on our team, but choose not to play for the school because of his dislike for the coaches. Played AAU ball instead, played juco, then went on to finish playing at a d3 school. Just because a kid attends a school does not mean he HAS to play sports at that school. School is for learning and the sports are extra. Where a kid decides to spend his extra time is up to them and the parents. I dont see how you feel justin siena is being "used?" If the tuition is paid, all the kids owe the school is to be the best possible students, nothing more. And by all accounts, they are doing just fine.

Stay tuned for next season. You will see. Until then, enjoy your online hidden life.
I don't mind PP's team or what they are doing, I just don't like how they are doing it. It is like the Barnum and Bailey Circus freak show. Pay this amount of $'s and step into the tent and we will show you the best event ever featuring ........... ........... and ............... .............. against the highly touted Washington Generals. Most posters on this board use it talk about kids and programs. The PP approach is to use the board as free advertisement. Quit selling your program, we all know what it is and what it isn't.

After standing back and watching this "experiment" pan out, I was willing to give it a pass - sight unseen - until I did get a chance to view it on their "senior night". I was interested in seeing what all the hoopla was about with the "No. 1 player in America in his class". After leaving Napa College Saturday evening, I was less than enamored with what is put out there.

I like Josh Jackson. A very nice athletic player. No. 1 in the nation?... I'll go with those more informed than myself. I personally hope he attends college and grows his game a bit more before he considers the NBA. One and done should not be the mindset. Maryland happens to be my alma mater as well but I wasn't following the recruiting process for this young man. So my comments aren't motivated by any disappointment there. PPTV's comments though did give me somewhat of a narrative to what I did see.

I didn't realize that Jackson's mother was the impetus behind the creation of this program. A mother's love can move mountains. OTOH I'm not sure that power should be used to create a "prep school" where her child is the star attraction. It may turn out okay but it could very well be counter-productive. We'll see.

I did like the ceremony for the families - related and host. That lent authenticity to PP is trying to do but not much after that left me feeling good about the future prognosis. I was hoping for a better game. Reno International Prep would actually be a pretty good high school team but in this situation, the comparison to the Washington Generals is apropos. They were just a prop in the showcase for Josh Jackson and nothing was going to spoil that show. The paid refs were not going to let anything disrupt that script and if Jackson took umbrage to a questionable hard foul by a defense minded player, well that player gets ejected and the band plays on. Nothing about this game gave me a warm fuzzy but I won't go into details. This post is long enough.

Sean Miller from Arizona was there to show his support. Didn't notice any other major programs but I'm sure a few assistants were lurking. Lots of JC coaches though because a few of the kids could wind up at those schools. Not a bad thing but for those parents that are actually paying and expecting better results for their kids, that might not go over so well.

At this point I hope PP can sustain and grow after Jackson "graduates". Then we can really judge the legitimacy of the program. I really liked Vance Jackson (UConn bound). His future is really bright. All three seniors are D1 bound. Maybe two more will follow suit eventually but some of them may have been better served at their local schools. I won't question the parents judgement in this because I'm not sure I wouldn't do the same for my child if I had the opportunity. There is support for this program. So I hope there will be long term stability. We'll just have to wait and see.

Great analysis. Couple of things you missed. Reno International Prep is far from an elite Post Grad Prep School, however, they do have a few wins against California JUCO Teams.

Also, keep in mind everyone played equally pretty much for that game. Ira Lee and Abu Kigab played around 13 minutes (Both Kansas offers). The game could have really gotten out of hand if the starters played big minutes, but Coach Billy isn't that kind of coach. Also, Devon Daniels (UTAH) didn't participate in the game as well. Obviously, it didn't matter since the rest of the team can play a little bit as well.

Stay Tuned for next year. LAJJ (Life After Josh Jackson) will be revealed. Maybe for the better...Maybe for the worse.

Rasheed Sulaimon went to Jesuit of Dallas

Just for the boards information Strake Jesuit, Texas is a NFHS certified high school. They actually played in Sacramento his senior year at one of Jesuits tournaments.
