Leading their teams.....according to socal brains....All four of the teams in the Socal Sectional Semi Finals automatically make the Socal Open...is that correct...have LBP, Troy, H-W and Etiwanda now already made 4 of the Socal Open slots?

That's my understanding ... top four go to Open, next eight to D1, bottom four to D2 (so Mater Dei, among others, will be D2 in the SoCals).
Also, according to my understanding, this is the last year for this system. Starting next year, the sections can only submit a ranked order list of teams to the CIF committee, which can then put teams in whatever bracket it sees fit.
