I gotta say Jake Haener is flat out getting beat up. His offensive line sucks and he was sacked 8 times last night. That’s not counting all the other hits he’s taking. Overall he’s having a really good year, despite the lack of protection. He’s listed at 193 but I would bet the house he isn’t an ounce over 180.

Dad Brookshire, was last night Jordan’s first D1 start? I thought he played pretty well, especially considering the tough BYU opponent.

I hear Colorado’s Nate Landman got injured yesterday. Does anyone know the extent of his injury? It wouldn’t surprise me to see hIm play in the league.

I think it was Jordan’s second start......let’s not forget all the local guys on SJSU crushing it this year !

Daniyel Ngata (Folsom) had 10 carries for 67 yards and a touchdown in Arizona State's 70-7 win over Arizona.

Calvin Brownholtz (Jesuit) got the start for UTEP this week against North Texas. He went 10-for-26 for 196 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions. He also was the team's leading rusher with 128 yards and two scores.

I wonder if he will drop down to FCS or give up a year eligibility at a different FBS program?

Due to covid I don’t think anyone is losing a year of eligibility which should make this transfer season wild

I’m not so sure about that

NCAA approves blanket waiver for 2020 fall sports athletes to retain year of eligibility. ... The NCAA's announcement said seniors student-athletes who take advantage of the additional year of eligibility will not count against team scholarship limits in 2021-22.

Wooldridge is not a senior will this still apply to him? When looking at teams with quarterback needs how solid is Sac State and Davis. Obviously SJSU, Reno and BSU are solid at the position. I wonder about needs at UNLV, Wyoming, Colorado State and SDSU at QB position in Mountain West? I assume New Mexico dumped the triple option? He says he prefers to stay on west coast.

Yup they all don’t lose a year and senior who stay don’t count against the 85 count........yeah he will have one many options I bet with so many transfers

Not yet. He already has his degree in mechanical engineering and more upside to go to draft. His father was an line assistant at Atlanta and played for Niners. Plenty of NFL coaches have him on the radar and also given he is one of the top players in Pac 12 on line and in his position at Center. His father was 6th round and played 8 years in NFL. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes much higher. Even if he just signs he will get a signing deal and has strong education. He wouldn't come out if he didn't have indications there is interest. He should test well. Fast for his position and grew up since a kid knowing and playing the position. Several NFL head coaches and line coaches know him personally through his father. He will definitely get a shot at playing. He was the most highly recruited player at Palma since his father but the kid going to UCLA next year was higher recruited than both. He is best friends with my nephew. My brother coached him in youth league and have known him since he was a youth. Just a really good young man - smart, motivated, and hard worker and humble. Sky is the limit whatever he choses to do and if he stays healthy could have a career in the NFL.

Really glad to hear he has his degree. The one’s I don’t understand are the guys that come out for the draft early and end up being undrafted free agents like Damien Mama from SJB. He played a little in the Alliance League and to my knowledge is out of football with no big signing bonus and worse no degree.

USC's Alijah Vera-Tucker (O'Dowd) and Illinois' Milo Eifer (O'Dowd) both declared for the draft

You can declare. Doesn't always mean you get drafted.

Without any knowledge, I wonder with the coaching change at Illinois if he is just moving on from college and trying to take this shot

college is not for everyone. school is not for everyone. he made it to the nfl which he already beat the odds and dreams of 99% of people posting on here. i would say he did ok. plus how you know what his pockets look like? or if he enrolled at university of phoenix online and graduated?

that’s a good point, many players that come out after three years of college are nowhere near a degree. Many are not students at all.

And some other not so accomplished college dropouts: Gates, Jobs, Zuckerberg.

It takes drive, passion, talent and for some, a little luck to say “I played professionally.” The rest who tried but couldn’t make the cut deserve credit, but less. Putting food on the table for your family is not a college degree entitlement. It helps.

Isaiah Rutherford (Jesuit) has transferred from Notre Dame to Arizona. Good pickup for the new Wildcats staff in bringing in a West Coast prosepct that was highly regarded in high school.

Any Idea what round he's projected to be drafted? I'm guessing fourth or fifth
hearing 2nd-5th (as in article). In any event expected to be higher than his father who played 8 years in NFL and would have probably played longer except for injury.

If you listened to Coach Walsh at Cal Poly he predicted JJ Koski would go between the third and fifth round in a WR heavy draft class last year. JJ wound up a UDFA hooking up with the Rams and he's still on their practice squad. Dalman played in a much bigger program and his dad having played in the NFL won't hurt his chances at all. I wish both of these guys the best playing at the highest level.
