Any insight on this game? I see earlier this year that Milpitas beat a weak Los Gatos team only 28-14. This same Los Gatos team lost to San Benito, who Bellarmine just destroyed.

I heard Milpitas has very good backs, good team speed and great size.

You can spin daisy chain comparisons like the one above to say just about anything so I would not put too much value on them. Matchups are more important and these teams match up well together.
Personal guess time: After last years OT loss to Bellarmine I feel Milpitas is the more motivated team and I have a hunch they beat Bellarmine this year.

Motivation doesn't win games and if it did, then logic would dictate that Bellarmine is even more "motivated" to win after actually making it to the championship last year only to lose.

You can keep motivation. Both times are winners and are equally "motivated". I believe talent, matchups and coaching win games and IMHO milpitas is not as strong as last year and Bellarmine is stronger.

Last year's result runs counter to your argument. Bellarmine was the underdog in that match up. As the game progressed you could just see and feel they wanted it more.
We will see on Friday who is correct. As I said it is a hunch

Got it - ok, so looks like Milpitas will win since they are the underdog and then must want it more.

I wouldn't sleep on motivation. In a playoff or the pro game motivation isn't much of a factor. Upsets happen all the time in college ball based off revenge/motivation.

Milpitas has size and speed but they might be the most undisciplined team in the CCS. I hear they average something like over 150+ yards of penalties every game. Against a team like Bellarmine that thrives on ball control and time of possession, that will absolutely kill them.

Have you ever noticed how Milpitas always has the most jumbo offensive linemen and they are almost always the least athletic? I'll take Bellarmine in this one.

A SJS Homer is going for Milpitas! Wud not mind seeing either team face Vacaville or Wood -Vacaville!

I know both teams well and the difference always comes down to coaching. Milpitas has probably the best playmaker in CCS in #20 Tariq Bracy, but he does not get enough touches. I think Bellarmine wins another close one, but would not be surprised if Milpitas comes out on top as both teams are very good. And yes, motivation can play a factor in the outcome because it can be the fuel you need to practice harder & study longer in preparation for the game.

Like UCLA did Kentucky last night in basketball. They waited a year for payback and got it.
