MM vs VC

Was anyone there? I saw the final score but would love to hear more about how the game went, who played well, etc. Clay?

MM jumped out to a 14-2 lead, VC drew even in Q2, then back and forth the rest of the way. MM often was 1-2 possessions ahead, but couldn't pull away. VC also briefly had 2-possession lead. VC managed to slow MM transition to a walking pace (big weapon neutralized). #33 for BC was huge on their offensive end. Clair Steele reportedly had 34 points, the only MM player who can consistently create her own shot, VC not yielding many open looks. fouls not an issue, game closer than the final 2-possession margin might suggest.

I'm sure it was a good game. I watched both teams play and knew going in that would be a good matchup. I'm sure both teams came in confident and ready to play. Congratulations to Miramonte !
