The newly renovated Hayward Playground is ready. Maybe I'll go see a softball game once.
The school donated $1.3 million to the project and will be able to practice there. A new building to be built over the original practice field containing a rooftop practice field is also planned. This will greatly improve practice options.

Good to hear. As this is City property and primarily funded by SF taxpayers, does SHC share JP Lang with SF Park and Rec and possibly public schools?

Yes. We'll have to wait to see how they will utilize the field but it's still a public playground and field.

It's an improved existing space. It's part of the renovation of the entire playground. SHC donated $1.3 Million for the project.
